Kevin Simmons, along with 12 other students attended the convention Feb. 20-23. It was held in Kansas City, MO, and included choral students and conductors from the Southwest region of the United States, which includes; Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.

College of Business faculty and students at Eastern New Mexico University are currently assisting the Portales chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons to prepare free tax-return service for area residents on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2-4 p.m. in the College of Business Building. The service will be provided until Apr. 8.

For many students at Eastern New Mexico University, the student newspaper and television stations may be the only media sources they are familiar with. However there are two other media sources on campus -- KZIA and KENW / KMTH-FM.
