The "now factor" and health

It seems like there is never enough time during the day to get everything done that needs to be done. This is a huge factor for stress, and it's not only a toll on us mentally, but also physically and emotionally.

With that being said, our busy schedules can keep us from getting sleep, having a social life, and keep us from eating healthy. Due to our busy bodies, it's vital that we get the proper amount of sleep, and the right nutrients to keep us healthy and going. It seems as though the busier we get the lazier we get as well.

America is a country that suffers from what I like to call the "Now Factor." The "Now Factor" is not only a problem that affects us here in America, but also globally.

It is also a factor of diabetes, stroke, heart disease, can cause some forms of cancer and can leave you broke. This growing epidemic is caused by from, what I think, is the fast food industry.

We as Americans do not want to wait for our food when we are hungry. We want our food now, and we want it fast so we can get back to what we were doing before we got distracted by hunger pains.

Fast food is not only convenient, but it's quick, and even cheaper than buying food from the store and making dinner.

Sure, it's ok to have a hamburger and some fries every now and then, but there are people in this world that eat out all the time. Whether it be sitting in a restaurant or ordering pizza to have it delivered. With our economic situation, we need to keep an eye on how much we spend.

I believe that Americans need to learn the difference between their wants and their needs. There are things in life that we need to be able to survive. Things such as shelter, food, water, and air.

There are also things that we think we need but really don't. Things such as toys, electronics, and all other high fashion materialistic things that we buy everyday.

Fast food has been around for years, and is spreading like an incurable disease that I feel is bound to kill us both physically and financially sooner or later. I also believe that fast food is one of the main causes that obesity rates are so high in our country today.
