75th Musical Revue honors year era of Eastern's beginning

The revue, a Vaudeville variety show, featured current ENMU students performing 1930's style entertainment.
Emcees for the night, Kimberly Clements and Rojun Alexander, started the night as Alexander strutted onto the stage as a female singer, purple dress and blond curls in tow. Clements accompanied on piano.
All acts were dressed in formal attire, with vocalists adorned in ball gowns and tuxedos. Individual vocal performers of the evening included Kelly Vigil singing "Summertime, Little Girl Blue" by Alexaundrea Jahn, "Begin the Beguine" by Vincent Romano, "I Can't Get Started" by Kathleen Deerman-Smith, and "Ill Wind" by Amy Archibeque.
The Swanee Singers, which included Adrienne Carver, Alicia Whittington, Janice Pacheco, Rachel Mariano, Susan Hargraves, Richard McNeill, Vincent Romano, Orlando Shelly, and Christopher Yee performed multiple pieces. Their performances were "Night and Day," "The Lullaby of Broadway," from 42nd Street, and "The Very Thought of You," which was the final performance of the night, which also featured Dr. Jason Vest on Vocals.
Amy Archibeque and Jenny McNeill also performed a comedic scene about relationships which had the audience rolling in laughter. Pianist Heather Christiansen accompanied them.
The duet "When I Grow too Old to Dream" was performed by Robert Garza and Reanna Molinaro. The pair was accompanied in dance by Adrienne Carver and Christopher Yee.
Other duets of the night included "Miss Otis Regrets" by Derek Gilmour and Jessica Marquez; and "At the Opera," a duologue by D. Darby Aaronson, performed by Orlando Shelly and Wesley Emanuel.
The emcees ended the night with a tap dance and farewell to the audience. As the cast came out to bow, the audience awarded a standing ovation.
The stage director for the revue was Laurel Petty; music director was Dr. Jason Vest, and Cohoral Director was Dr. Jason Paulk. Choreography was done by Bryan Hahn and Rojun Alexander.
